In December we learned about different holidays that people celebrate: Christmas, Hannukah, Divali, Kwanzaa, New Yearโs. The children enjoyed listening to the descriptions of the holidays and observing objects related to the holidays. We also made some ornaments out of different materials. We sang different holiday songs.
On our last day of school of 2022 we celebrated our community with a potluck lunch in our backyard. Many parents, siblings and families came to say good-bye/adiโรณs to 2022 and hello/hola to 2023. Happy New Year to All! Our first day of school back will be Wednesday, January 4th!
