This January we learned all about different clothing/ropa we use at different times of the year and for different occasions. We learned lots of vocabulary such as falda, blusa, pantalones, pantalones cortos, camisa, calcetines, medias, chaqueta, bufanda, botas y más. We sang a song about Tía Monica and how she puts on her pieces of clothing to go to different places. We acted out our song to pretend we were putting clothes on.
The children really enjoyed putting clothes on our dolls in the classrooms and taking off clothes of the dolls. Then they changed the clothes and repeated the steps. We also made accessories out of beads: collares, pulseras, anillos.
