During the month of March, we observed what happens in nature during the season of spring, primavera, and what happens to plants. We put bean seeds and wet paper towels into transparent plastic bags taped to our windows. Our bean seeds, semillas, sprouted and started growing roots, raíces, stems, tallos and leaves, hojas. Our class was so excited!
We also planted flower seeds in pots outside. We’re still waiting to see when those seeds sprout.
We also made flowers out of paper and learned the parts of a flower, partes de una flor.
We talked about la letra B/b, names and words that start with B/b: Briar, botella, bote, blusa, burro, bicicleta, bebé, boca, etc.
