In February we talked about all kinds of different shapes that we can find all around us: cรญrculo, rectรกngulo, triรกngulo, estrella, รณvalo, rombo, cuadrado, corazรณn, hexรกgono, trapezoide and more. We decorated paper hearts with heart stickers, paper stars with star stickers, paper circles with circle stickers and decorated paper rectanglesย withย crayons and markers. We collected all of our shapes into a bag of shapes and learned the Spanish names of the shapes. We played a lot inside and outside and sang a lot of songs.
To celebrate Valentineโs day/el dรญa del amor y la amistad, the children exchanged friendship cards that they made at home. They brought beautiful and very creative cards for theirย friends, classmates and teachers at school.
