In the month of January we learned about transportation/transportes and about vehicles/vehículos we can use all around the world to go to different places. We talked about how we can travel by: car-auto, train-tren, bus-autobús, airplane-avión and more. We played with toy cars, airplanes, helicopters, trains and trucks. We acted out the noises these vehicles make. We sang Wheels on the bus in Spanish: Las ruedas del autobús rolando van, rolando van, rolando van por toda la ciudad…
The children enjoyed playing with puzzles and reading books. Our younger children really enjoyed playing and building with the oversized building blocks that we have in the classroom. Our letters that we focused on this month were la letra C/c y la letra N/n. The children and teachers are looking forward to Valentine’s Day/el día del amor y la amistad.
