We had an awesome first month of school! The children got used to school and learned our routines very well this year! In September we learned all about ourselves: body parts, parts of our faces, emotions, our friendsโ€™ names, and our routines. We sang Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes in Spanish while pointing to our body parts:

Cabeza, hombros, rodillas, pies,
rodillas, pies x2
Ojos y orejas y boca y nariz,
Cabeza, hombros, rodillas, pies,
rodillas, pies.

The children enjoyed molding with playdough and sticking stickers on paper and stickers to decorate a box. Inside our classroom the children enjoyed getting to know their classmates and playing together with magnetic tiles and magnetic fishing rods to pick up pretend โ€œfishโ€. Outside in our backyard the children enjoyed walking and running around everywhere and playing in the sandbox. Weโ€™re looking forward to learning about families, our unit of study in October!

Lorem Ipsum has been the industrys standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown prmontserrat took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
