In March we learned about plants/plantas and spring/primavera. We talked about how in the spring season it rains more, the weather gets warmer and plants start to appear and grow. Plants grow from seeds little by little adding stems, leaves, flowers and fruits. We also acted out with our bodies how a seed grows into a plant or a tree. We tried balancing in the yoga pose of a tree.

We learned that to live and grow plants need water from rain, nutrients or food from the soil and light from the sun. We sang:

Que llueva, que llueva
la vieja de la cueva
los pajarillos cantan
la luna se levanta
que sรญ, que no
que llueva un chaparrรณn!

Outside we enjoyed the nicer warmer weather and we collected seeds, plants, flowers and grass. We took them inside to study and learn about. We decorated paper flowers and made plastic egg maracas with beans/frijoles inside.

The children enjoyed playing a lot in our classroom with the colored blocks, magnetic tiles and puzzles. We also learned about la letra D/d y la letra J/j.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industrys standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown prmontserrat took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
