The Four Seasons

In November we talked about the four seasons (primavera, verano, otoño, invierno) and concentrated our learning around the current season of fall, otoño. During the fall, the weather gets cooler, the leaves turn different colors and fall. The poem we learned was En otoño las hojitas de los arboles se caen, llega el viento las levanta y comienzan a …cantar…bailar…correr…saltar… The children had fun acting out the different actions that the leaves do.

We also learned that the Thanksgiving, día de acción de gracias, holiday comes in November. We made turkey hats and pretended to be turkeys, pavos. Feliz día de acción de gracias a todos! Happy Thanksgiving to all!
