In October we learned about all different kinds of families and someย names of family members: hermana, hermano, bebรฉ, papรก, mamรก, tรญa, tรญo,ย prima, primo, abuela, abuelo, etc. We glued some pictures of family
members onto paper to make family collages or cuadros de familia. Weย learned a poem that starts with Dรณnde estรก mamรก? Dรณnde estรก mamรก? Aquiย estoy, aqui estoy. Yo te quiero mucho, yo te quiero mucho. Besitos para
tรญ, abracitos para tรญโฆ Dรณnde estรก papรก?โฆ Dรณnde estรก hermana?โฆ
ย We also talked about Halloween or Dรญa de las brujas and Dรญa de losย muertos. We discussed different traditions people have during theseย holidays. We really enjoyed visiting, getting to know each other betterย and building community during our potluck lunch on Halloween! Adults andย children looked great in their fun and creative costumes!
