In September we learned all about ourselves using the vocabulary of body
parts and we sang “Cabeza, hombros, rodillas, pies, rodillas, pies. Ojos
y orejas y boca y nariz, cabeza, hombros, rodillas, pies.”
We had a lot of fun getting to know each other and starting to play
together. Inside our classroom, the children really enjoyed working with
blocks and the colorful magnetic tiles. We also did some painting.
Outside in our backyard they loved the ride-on toys.
We also started to talk about the vowels in Spanish: A E I O U. We
reviewed some words that start with la letra a, e. We are looking
forward to lots of learning this school year!
