[et_pb_column type=โ€4_4โ€ณ][et_pb_text admin_label=โ€Textโ€]In October we talked about families and we recited the poem:

ยฟDรณnde estรก mamรก? ยฟDรณnde estรกย mamรก?

Aquรญ estoy, aquรญ estoy.

Yo te quiero mucho, yo te quiero mucho.

Besitos para tรญ, abracitos para tรญ.

Then in the poem we changed mamรก to papรก, hermana, hermano, bebรฉ, abuela, abuelo, tรญa, tรญo, prima, primo, etc.ย We glued drawings of family members into a book we will make.

We talked about traditions aroundย Dรญa de las brujas (Halloween) and Dรญa de los muertos. We decorated paper linternas de calabaza (jack-o-lanterns) y calaveras (skulls).

The children really enjoy looking through and โ€œreadingโ€ the Spanish books in our classroom library.

Also, the children like to pretend-play a lot in our play kitchen and build with our colorful bricks.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industrys standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown prmontserrat took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
